This is the heart of "The North Point Boys." Dave Baker returns home to find his wife and step-daughter slain. Dave comes close to being murdered himself. A suspect is identified and the manhunt was on, but by a strange twist of fate, the real killer is apprehended, tried and found guilty and sent to prison. Upon appeal a retrial is granted.
